Retirement Planning
Built Around You
At Leifert Financial, we help individuals and families make smarter decisions about their money today while preparing for the retirement they want tomorrow.
Whether you're still building wealth, beginning to think seriously about retirement, or already living it, the decisions you make along the way can have a lasting impact. How should my money be invested? Am I taking the right amount of risk? Am I saving enough? How will taxes affect me? And as retirement gets closer, how will I eventually turn what I've built into income?
We believe financial planning shouldn't begin with a product. It should begin with understanding you—where you are today, what's important to you, what concerns you, and what you want your money to accomplish.
From there, we help you understand the risks, opportunities, and trade-offs in front of you so you can make informed decisions today while keeping your long-term goals in focus.

Main Street Over Wall Street

We believe you deserve better than that.
Leifert Financial was built around a different idea: education should come before solutions. Before making recommendations, we first want to understand where you are today, what you're trying to accomplish, and the risks or obstacles that could stand in your way.
That includes some of the biggest threats to the wealth you've worked hard to build: taxes, inflation, and market losses. These risks can affect people differently depending on their age, investments, income needs, timeline, and where they are in their financial journey.
Much like a good doctor wouldn't prescribe a treatment without examining the patient first, we don't believe in recommending a financial strategy before understanding your financial situation.

Education doesn't replace advice. It makes better advice possible. Our goal is to give you the knowledge to understand your financial situation and the professional guidance to help you decide what to do about it.
The financial industry has no shortage of products, opinions, and people willing to tell you what you should do with your money. The problem is that, typically, the conversation starts with a solution before there's been enough time spent understanding the problem.

Our process starts by asking questions, gathering the facts, and helping you understand what we see. We identify potential problems and opportunities, explain why they matter, and then recommend strategies based on your individual circumstances, resources, and goals.
We also believe transparency matters. You should understand what you're doing, why you're doing it, how the financial professional you're working with is compensated, and whether financial incentives could influence the solutions being presented.

For Jared, good retirement planning isn't about
making financial decisions more complicated.
It's about making complicated decisions easier to understand.
Meet Jared
Jared Leifert is a Retirement Income Specialist with over a decade of experience in financial services, helping individuals and families make thoughtful financial decisions while building, preparing for, and living in retirement.
His approach begins with understanding the person behind the numbers—their goals, concerns, priorities, and what they want retirement to look like.
Rather than starting with products, Jared starts with the problems that need to be solved and the outcomes his clients are trying to achieve.
From there, he helps clients identify potential pitfalls and opportunities, understand their choices and trade-offs, and bring the different pieces of retirement together into a strategy they can understand.
Family. Community. Perspective.
Outside of work, Jared is a husband and father. He met his wife, Danielle, while the two were serving together on their church’s praise and worship team. They married in 2020 and welcomed identical twin daughters, Layla and Lainey, in 2024.
After more than 25 years in Nashville, Jared considers Middle Tennessee home. Becoming a husband and father has only reinforced something he has long believed about financial planning:
the numbers matter, but what those numbers allow you to do for the people you love matters even more.
